What you will learn

  • Core administrative services, systems and process - To excel in an administrative function you need to really understand your clients’ needs and expectations and how you fit in with regard to delivery. This qualification will ensure you have a sound knowledge of all administrative functions and will provide you with the knowledge to meet expected requirements of the role, providing smart solutions to solve administrative problems.

  • Business technologies - Technology is changing rapidly. If you don’t keep abreast of changes in the work environment you will get left behind. But how do you know what you don’t know?  You take on extra study that guides and informs you about new opportunities and methodologies. That is what this qualification will deliver.

  • Managing change - Change is a constant in our lives and learning how to drive and manage change within a business environment is a necessity. You need to be able to understand the reasons for change, the impacts on your role and how to adapt to maximise the opportunities.

  • How NZ organisations operate - Every country has slightly different ways of working within a commercial and corporate environment. You need to understand the lie of the land when it comes to the NZ context and study will help provide that piece of the jigsaw.
