The link below will take you to the new Learning and Study resources page on the NorthTec library site.
This resource is by no means the be all and end all of the resources that you, as a student, will need whilst you are studying, but we hope that it encompasses the majority of questions and issues that you may have during your learning journey.
The files are all digital so there’s the option of being paper free, downloading to a computer or USB, or printing for your own files.
If you come across any issues or an area in which you believe more information is needed, please feel free to let me know: email@example.com
Our Student Advisors help students to develop skills to become more effective learners. We can help identify the gaps in your learning and suggest strategies to enhance studying. These could be in areas such as time management, essay writing, referencing or memorising information for exams.
To make the most of your time with us it’s important to:
Plan ahead – appointments just before an assignment is due are not always effective
Have a clear idea of what you want from the session
Bring as much information as you can – this might include assignment questions, marking guides and any relevant work you have already done
To make an appointment, complete the form below or you can contact us via phone, text, email or through your course tutor.
