Looking to be a fencing supervisor or self-employed fencing contractor? This programme is for you!
Get the knowledge and practical skills to design and construct fences, interpret a livestock yard design, construct yards to meet client requirements, and develop the knowledge and skills to lead a team and manage client relationships.
This programme is aimed at experienced fencers and are at, or moving into, a role in a rural fencing enterprise which has responsibility for meeting client fencing requirements.
Graduates of this qualification will be able to:

Design and construct fence lines to meet design and client specifications.

Interpret a livestock yard design and construct a livestock yard to meet design and client specifications.

Facilitate teamwork and client relationship management using a range of effective interpersonal skills.
Entry Requirements
To gain admission to the New Zealand Certificate in Fencing (Level 4), applicants must:
It is recommended that applicants have completed the New Zealand Certificate in Fencing (Level 3) as a pre-requisite.
Applicants, for whom English is not their first language, must have a General or Academic Score IELTS score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5; or hold an accepted international equivalence.
