In this class we will make and present the three most recognised types of gnocchi
Italienne (potato) – finished with a basil pesto
Romaine (semolina) – finished with a tomato sauce
Parisienne (choux pastry) – finished with a mushroom and cream reduction
We will also have a look at a couple variations on the theme (e.g. Gnocchi Parisienne makes great fritters when deep fried, or savoury eclairs when baked). These recipes are suitable to be made at home in smaller quantities and are very adaptable for serving.
All ingredients are provided – bring yourself, some friends and laughter and learn to make new and exciting food in the first-rate kitchen facilities of NorthTec’s Apprentice Restaurant!
