Student Association creates ‘NorthTec Student Exchange’

The NorthTec Student Association has set up the NorthTec Student Exchange, a public Facebook group for NorthTec students to swap and sell text books and other academic resources.

The practice of selling used text books to other students is a common among students. Student Association Co-Chair Ryan Marsich explains: “We saw a demand for something to assist students in trying to tell their used text books, and so we decided to do something about it.”

“The Student Exchange offers students a platform on which to sell their text books to other students within NorthTec. We hope this will result in sellers getting a good return on their text books, and good value for money for buyers.”

The Association strongly encourages students from all departments and campuses to join the Student Exchange. You can find the Student Exchange on Facebook.
