As a Programme Coordinator you will lead the delivery of programmes for young people primarily aged 5-18, developing quality programmes for our rangatahi/young people. This role focuses on the delivery of a wide variety of programmes run out of our youth hub, in schools and the community, including holiday programmes and after school programmes, but also supports the growth of new programmes. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), the ability to be flexible in your working hours is essential, as some weekend and evening work may be required.
You will have exceptional teamwork and communication skills as well as proven ability in developing and implementing programmes for young people. You will have a track record of building great relationships within the local area, experience in staff coordination and managing teams, a strong attention to detail and the ability to switch between administration and programme delivery with ease! Of course, the ability to build rapport quickly with young people is essential in this role. A full clean NZ drivers licence with at least 2 years driving experience is essential and intermediate computer skills is required. You will also need to be flexible in your working hours, as evening and weekend work is required at times. Above all, you will have a commitment and passion for developing young people and empowering them to be the best they can be!
