The Red Barn Gym

Located in the Toi Te Pito Arts Precinct on Raumanga campus, the Red Barn Gym is staffed at selected times throughout the week and is welcoming memberships from students and staff.


These classes are free for gym members only.

Kickboxing - Wednesdays 3PM
A fun cardio kickboxing workout. Blending non-contact air striking with interval training. You'll punch with jabs, crosses, hooks and uppercuts, perform knee lifts and roundhouse kicks all in combination sets.

Pilates - Wednesdays 4PM
Pilates will meet anybody’s needs to improve their movement in a graceful way, and at the same time make it extremely challenging. If your fitness routine has been feeling a little stale, trying a new kind of class can make it feel fresh again.

Membership 2021

$20.00 per term or $60 for the Academic year.

Induction is compulsory. Book in your 10-minute induction at and the trainer will get back in touch to organise a day and a time.

Wednesday: 10.00 AM - 6.00 PM
Thursday: 10.00 AM - 2.00 PM
Friday: 8.30 AM - 11.45 AM

The gym is closed during term breaks.
