City Centre Learning Hub

Location, location, location. Our new city centre learning hub on Bank Street is right in the heart of the city with easy access to local amenities and public transport.

The facility is available to suit a range of flexible study options; online and blended modes of learning, face-to-face classes, smaller study groups, and workshops with opportunities for evening and weekend classes on some courses.

The campus has large interactive teaching and learning spaces, smaller breakout areas, individual study kiosks and workstations all in an inviting open plan environment. Connect to your study online, network with other students, and receive online help from our team of Student Service navigators.  Courses offered at our Bank St campus include Licence Control Qualification for bar managers, bespoke coffee training and Business courses for professional development.

Bank Street is also host to the Tai Tokerau Skills Centre+, Te Rua o Pukenga, a regional inter agency collaboration to support people impacted by the effects of COVID-19. The centre provides support and connections to employment, work readiness support, skills and training. Pop into find out about NorthTec’s programmes and courses, and complete your application, no need to go anywhere else!
