We are working with Northland DHB to provide Mobile Covid Vaccination Clinics on our campuses, to make it as easy as possible for our NorthTec whānau to access vaccinations.
This week, clinics will be held at NorthTec’s Kaikohe and Kerikeri campuses on Wednesday, 22 September. The mobile clinic will be at Kaikohe campus from 9am to 11am, and at Te Pou o Manako – Kerikeri campus, from 12pm to 4pm.
The clinics will be held in the campus car parks. NorthTec students, staff and whānau members can attend, with no appointments necessary. You do not need to bring anything with you, although if you know your NHI number it is helpful if you can provide it.
The clinics will also be available to the wider community. Vaccines are currently available to anyone in Aotearoa New Zealand aged 12 and over.
Please note that following your vaccination, you will be required to wait for 15 minutes under the supervision of health providers. An area will be set aside for this.
Northland DHB Kaumātua has blessed the mobile clinics. Thanks to those who organised and attended today’s initial mobile vaccination clinic at the Future Trades (Dyer St) campus, which operated successfully.
NorthTec and Northland DHB will be working together to provide mobile vaccination clinics at the other Northland campuses after the term break.
