Acting Director Products and Delivery, Pathway Manager Community & Environment
John Stansfield is Acting Director Products and Delivery. He is the editor of Whanake; The Pacific journal of community development, The president of the Aotearoa Community Development Association and the vice president of the International Association for Community Development and its regional director for Oceania. John has personal research interests in Community Development, Island Societies and Economies, Sustainable Development and Regional Food Security.
Academic Leader/Senior Lecturer
As a tutor in the NorthTec Sport and Recreation department I have a passion for education and life long learning. My subject expertise includes outdoor education, sociology and skill acquisition and I have recently completed a Masters thesis in the area of youth sport. Starting my career in education as a physical education and health teacher in secondary schools, I believe that a holistic approach is essential to the development of our young people.

Dan Clark is the chair of the NorthTec research committee and programme manager for Business and Sport & Recreation.
Pathway Manager Nursing
My academic focus is on primary health care nursing. My research interests are in flexibility in teaching and learning, primary health care and advanced nursing roles.
The focus of my research is how insect communities in the Far North (Aupouri Peninsula and Te Paki) have responded to various forms of land use.
Applied Arts Tutor
Murray teaches on the arts degree programme in Clay, Glass. Sculpture, Drawing and Design.
