About this programme

This diploma programme delivered online provides specialised training for those currently managing or supervising in medical practices, or who work within the health sector. You will study accounting, management, communication, computing, HR and take an extra specialist paper in Management of Health Practices.

Additional costs

There is an additional fee to register the papers with NZIM. The fee is $35 per paper therefore a total of $245 for the programme.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have access to or be working as an administrator or manager at a health practice or in the health sector.

Applicants under 20 years of age require NCEA Level 2 or equivalent NZQA Unit Standards. English is a requirement, or the NZIM Certificate in Management.

Mature applicants need no formal qualifications, but should be enthusiastic and motivated.

Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5, or NZCEL Level 4 with the Academic endorsement.

International students are not eligible to apply for this course
