Ngāwhā campus blessing
We’re delighted and excited to end a busy year with the blessing and handover of our brand new Ngāwhā campus!
This week we joined kaimahi from Far North Holdings,Northland Inc, and Regent Training Centre for a dawn ceremony led by the haukainga Ngāti Rangi and our campus partners Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Kaikohe.
We’re already looking forward to the formal opening of the Ngāwhā Innovation and Enterprise Park, and our new campus, in February!
The campus will enable us to bring more diverse learning options to the mid-North and provide the community with purpose-built, modern learning facilities. Complete with automotive, carpentry, and engineering bays,the campus also contains a variety of classroom learning spaces that can be adapted to suit the needs of our ākonga.
Many thanks to our NorthTec | Te Pūkenga kaimahi, especially our facilities team, who have worked hard to ensure our new learning centre is ready for our ākonga in semester one, 2023. It will be an asset for the local community, and we look forward to delivering a range of training programmes in a fantastic setting.
