An important strategic component of NorthTec’s role in economic development of the North is the provision of business and industry-focused research and consultancy by staff.

NorthTec’s aim is to be the hub of regional research and innovation. We seek to provide structures and support that facilitate collaborative research and consultancy. NorthTec’s strategic direction is based on building a strong reputation for innovation and excellence.
