Overview This programme aims to prepare students to be responsible for construction sites.
Content Graduates will be able to:
- Develop and implement site safety plans
- Communicate both orally and in written form
- Demonstrate leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrate advanced technical skills in drawings and
specifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of contract law with the building industry
- Demonstrate knowledge of building regulations
- Demonstrate knowledge of execution and support systems
- Demonstrate knowledge of construction programming
- Supervise sub trades.

Admission Information Students must be currently employed within the construction industry and hold either:
- A qualification from the following list:
- National Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) - Trade Certificate in a building or construction trade.
- An equivalent qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent
knowledge and skills as determined by the Building and Construction Industry Training Organization (BCITO) or their agent.
Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 5.5.
