Overview This programme will provide students with the knowledge and skills required to create well-designed, well-constructed and well-presented garments for the apparel and textile industry.
Content Graduates will be able to:
- Demonstrate skills in industrial pattern making and grading
- Construct garments in an industrial setting
- Demonstrate knowledge of the fashion and design industry
- Use effective workplace communication
- Undertake production planning, costing, marketing and designing for
market needs
- Create original designs.

Admission Information Entry to this programme is open, however, preference will be given to applicants who:
- Have completed at least 3 years’ secondary education preferably with Art
- Have sound basic English and Maths skills, or have gained other relevant experience since leaving school
- Can prove they have a genuine interest in this field
- Can supply garments or artwork in a portfolio.
Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 5.5.
