Overview
- To provide students with knowledge and skills of the hardware and
software used in computer based multimedia
- Participate in both individual and group projects to develop a board
range of industry relevant practical skills, knowledge and operational practices
- Integrate their learning to meet the challenges of diverse digital
multimedia production environments.
Content Graduates will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge and practical skills in multimedia development and production for CD, DVD, print and web based
distribution
- Apply skills in the development of digital applications
- Discuss the legal issues involved in multimedia production, the
standards required by the industry, website marketing and search engines
- Create and manipulate graphics and produce Audio and Video
- Create animation for the web for integration and interaction
- Produce websites, CD-ROMs and DVDs.
