Overview This programme aims to provide students with an introduction to the nowledge and skills necessary to work in all facets of the tourism or travel industries, including customer service and communication skills.
Content A graduate of this programme will be able to:
- Explain the NZ Tourism Industry
- Communicate information to tourists and travellers
- Demonstrate customer service skills in a vary of tourism settings
- Work with an airline reservations system
- Discuss marketing strategy accommodation packages and travel
insurance

Admission Information Applicants must be 16 years or older by the commencement date of the course or have Ministry of Education approval to enrol.
Students must be able to demonstrate evidence of suitability based on interview and /or portfolio.
Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 5.5.
