Overview Students will gain the fundamental hairdressing and customer service skills that will allow them to begin a hairdressing apprenticeship.
Content Graduates will:
- Demonstrate the capacity to relate to, and communicate with a wide
variety of people
- Work as a valued team member and have developed customer service
skills
- Have an awareness of personal presentation within an image conscious industry
- Demonstrate a wide range of hairdressing skills at a beginner level
- Demonstrate knowledge of retail selling, stock control, reception duties and cash handling skills
- Have a working understanding of the hairdressing industry based on
workplace experience
- Practise within accepted Codes of Ethics and Practice.

Admission Information Entry is open, however preference is given to those who meet generic entry criteria and have:
- A minimum of three years of secondary school education
- Motivation to work in the hairdressing industry
- A strong interest and commitment to hairdressing services.
Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 5.5.
