To provide the knowledge and skills required for a management and supervisory role. Students complete this qualification with strands offered in general and maintenance engineering, or engineering fabrication.

Graduates of this programme will be able to:

apply hazard identification and risk assessment procedures in the workplace
Career options
Management or supervisory role as an industrial engineer, e.g. refinery engineer, general engineering, fitting, turning, design and construction
Admission information
Must have completed a Level 4 Certificate in Engineering or Fabrication.
Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 5.5, or equivalent.

National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Level 5)
