Whether you are new to the industry or want some very specific skill sets, there are programmes for you.
NorthTec, in partnership with Taratahi Agricultural Training Centre, is delivering a number of agricultural programmes on several farms and venues throughout Northland. There are programmes designed to meet a wide range of needs.
On-farm classroom
The learning environment is highly practical and is often delivered in a wool shed, workshop, at the yards, dairy shed or paddock.
Experienced tutors
Tutors have an extensive background in the agricultural sector and offer theory, technical and practical knowledge in a number of areas, including animal husbandry, soil and crop management, fencing, quad bikes, chainsaws and land management.
