NorthTec International Office
The International Office supports International Students to:

- Apply for and renew visas and medical and travel insurance.

Student Support Services
All students at NorthTec have access to a student advisor, a career pathway advisor, a disabilities coordinator, counselling services, and learning support tutors.
Student Health Centre
The Health Centre provides free confidential sickness care and advice from a registered nurse.
Student Mentors
Mentors are experienced students specially trained to help support new students. All international students are introduced to a mentor when they arrive at NorthTec.
Student Representative System
NorthTec has a Student Advisory Council and a Student Advisor to ensure that student needs and concerns are fully addressed.
Orientation Programme
Orientation each semester includes a formal Maori welcome (“Powhiri”), campus orientation, friendly shared lunch, entertainment and opportunities to meet other students. Watch a short video about orientation.
