Fun and easy

Studying English at NorthTec is fun and easy. Our English language programmes will increase your confidence levels and help you achieve internationally recognised qualifications.

To suit your goals

NorthTec’s international students are offered intensive English language courses to suit the study goals of each individual. These may range from learning English to live in a country, travel the world, improve your career prospects, achieve success in international commerce, or prepare for study in an English-speaking country.

Small personal classes

You will quickly feel at home here. The classes are friendly and small so you will receive the attention you need to develop your understanding and use of the language. Learning activities are practical and enjoyable, with a focus on applying your classroom learning to the world around you.

We will help you improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, expand your vocabulary, and improve your grammar and pronunciation.

Full time or part time

NorthTec offers English as a Foreign Language to help you improve your English or prepare for the IELTS exam. International students and migrants can study full-time (25 hours/week) or part-time (15 hours/week) in our classes, which run throughout the year.

Skilled tutors

Our English language tutors are highly skilled and well qualified with many having worldwide teaching experience.

Progress in steps

Our courses are delivered at three levels which allows you to learn at your own pace. As you skills and confidence increase, you will improve your conversational English on a wide range of topics, understand more complicated written language, and increase your ability to write complex structures and ideas.
