The Geoff Wilson Gallery is a purpose built exhibition space displaying art by Northland’s best artists, as well as invited artists from elsewhere in New Zealand.
The exhibition programme aims to feature a range of contemporary art practices, including painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, Maori art, video work, and installation art. Artworks are for sale in the gallery.
The gallery is an integral part of the learning experience of art students studying at NorthTec, as it affords them the opportunity to see high quality art on campus. Final year students on the Bachelor of Applied Arts (Visual) have their graduating exhibitions in the gallery.
The Geoff Wilson Gallery is located centrally at NorthTec’s Raumanga Campus, entrance off Raumanga Valley Road, Whangarei.
