Northtec's purpose is to be a quality provider of relevant, accessible, innovative tertiary education. Our goal is to build on students' secondary education to assist in making a successful transition from secondary school to tertiary study and assist them in finding a career that suits them.
Programmes for Youth
STAR is a nationwide programme funded by the government. It's specific aim is to prepare senior high school students for either the workforce or further training in a chosen field, or tertiary study in its many different forms, including Modern Apprenticeships.
Tasters are non-unit standard activities designed to ‘taste’ various NorthTec programmes on offer.
